LOPF are inviting people over 50 to take part in a two-part workshop to explore the barriers older people face when getting involved in research and find ways to offer better support.
Our first sessions were a great success, with valuable discussions about the challenges older adults face in research. Now we’re looking for more voices to help us dive deeper and shape real solutions that make research more inclusive and accessible.
Many older adults have valuable experiences and insights to share, but challenges such as lack of information, confidence, or opportunities can make participation difficult. We want to understand these challenges and work together to create solutions that make research more inclusive and accessible.
By taking part, you will:
• Share your thoughts and experiences
• Help shape a better approach to involving older people in research
• Receive a £25 shopping voucher per session, plus travel cost reimbursement and a light lunch for in-person events
Workshop Details:

8 April
5 pm - 6.30 pm

29 April
5 pm - 6.30 pm

Both sessions will be held at Leeds Playhouse, Quarry Hill, Leeds, LS2 7UP
Spaces are limited, so if you're interested, please email us at info@opforum.org.uk or call 0113 244 1697 to secure your place. Leeds Older People's Forum
