Main purpose of the Role: BCF relays on the help of wonderful volunteers to run our groups, activities and services. We are looking for an energetic, passionate and professional candidate to manage, support and grow our bank of volunteers, thus ensuring we can increase our impact through best use of volunteer time / knowledge / skills / commitment and passion; alongside developing our current volunteers. Working under the direction of the CEO, this is an important role for BCF and volunteering is a core function of our services. Our volunteers make a significant positive difference to the lives of local older people, and your role will make a real impact on the happiness of others. Coordination will include advertisement and recruitment, training, supervision and development, and reward scheme, with extensive interaction with both new and existing volunteers.
